Infection control has always been a top priority at our practice. We are committed to ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients, as we believe it is paramount for top quality denture care.
Considering the current circumstances, we want to inform you about the infection control procedures we diligently follow at our practice to keep our patients and staff safe.
Our office follows infection control protocols made by the Alberta College of Denturists and Alberta Health Services. We follow the activities of these agencies so that we can stay current to any new rulings or guidelines that are issued. There will be some changes during your upcoming appointments. We have made these changes to help protect our patients and staff. For example:
We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter our clinic.
We will have you sign a consent form before treatment.
Please note that our restroom is out of service.
Appointments will be managed to allow social distancing between patients. This might mean that you will be offered fewer options for scheduling an appointment.
We will be restricting the number of people we can have in our waiting room at a time. It will be limited to two individuals.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask any of our staff members.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through these changes.
